5 Days/6 Nights
Experience a family friendly, guided rafting adventure with two nights at base camp and four nights
under the stars on the banks of the mighty Orange River. This adventure boasts beautiful, pristine scenery, wildlife, bird- and fish species and flows between the spectacular Richtersveld Mountains from Vioolsdrift to Aussenkehr for approximately 65km.
Day of arrival (overnight at base camp-SA side)
On arrival at base camp you will be welcomed by the guides. After unpacking and setting up camp, the team will meet you around the camp fire where they will give you a full briefing on the next 5 days’ adventure and then you will enjoy a real South African steak braai.
Day 1-4 (overnight on the river bank)
After breakfast on day one, your adventure will be launched from base camp.
You will spend the next 5 days’ rafting rapids, swimming, laughing, enjoying nature, having fun in the sun with friends and family and spend four nights under the stars on the South African and/or Namibian river banks.
Day 5 (overnight at base camp-SA side)
After you have paddled the last stretch to Aussenkehr, you will have lunch and be transported back to base camp around 17h00 where you can unpack, set up camp, take a hot shower and relax around the camp fire while dinner is prepared.
